This is complete bullshit, Im tired of the MSP breaking down... Im selling it... Ohh and a word to those who are selling their MSP... Dont be retarded and allow it to be sold for under 16 g's... No matter what people tell you, its worth more like 17-18g's (03.5). The problem is that if people sell their cars for significantly less it hurts the value of our cars.

ditto. this thread could go several directions that it doesn't need to go. i'll be keeping my eye on it and it will be closed very promptly should it go one of those directions.

I have 17,000 miles on my car and I bought it in October ,so far no major problems so I am kinda curious as to what problems you are talking about.

Why are so many MSP owners selling their car? (uhm) Hopefully I'll get my money together to grab a black 03 MSP.

Well its mostly little problems but they add up... The bumper fell off and they have to replace it, which isn't bad but I have to work around my schedule to get them to fix it, It has to be a monday or wednesday... Etc, Basically Im pissed at the service im getting from mazda. Plus i have a diesel sound from the engine compartment, wtf is that? But i dont want to steer this into the wrong direction. Ill let you know if i sell it

Ill let you know if i sell itSorry to hear you're having problems with your car. That really sucks. This is my second Mazda and I can't say I've had any issues like this. I'm not sure your experience reflects most owners sentiments, but I can't blame you for getting rid of it has become a point of aggravation and inconvenience. Just try not to speak to negatively about the car and expect to be able to sell it for the money you mentioned. Just don't want you to shoot yourself in the foot. Hope you have better luck with your next car!

sucks that you are having so many problems...I truely think that not all MSP are created equally...maybe im just lucky. Best Wishes...sell it for as high as you can...but $17,000 is what I paid brand new. You could argue that its discountinued and you wont find any brand new...thus for those who are sellingif they sell it for a higher price it might help out. But just like the others say...lets not turn this into "resale value" thread

what exactly will you be getting now? Turbo cars typically have low resale value..I wold be looking for an EVO VIII if I was selling my car.

I have had two Mazda's myself and the only problem I have had so far was a blown tranny in my old mx-6. I have had the MSP for over 8 months now and have only had to have a door sensor fixed. I love Mazda's for their reliability. Atleast they have been good to me.

I know what everyone was getting the MSP's for new, but this is the latest appraisals I've found for the '03.5. Just FYI.

The problem is that if people sell their cars for significantly less it hurts the value of our cars.so your selling a used car that breaks down alot for 17-18k? i guess im the only one this doesn't sound right to? If you plan on selling it, are you going to tell the buyer about those problems? =)
