I would have posted in the one thread before but its in one of the locked folders. Im going to get new extended reach plugs tomorrow but i wanna know if its absolutely necessary to get new wires? And do they come pre gapped?

no you dont need new wires.
All plugs are "pregapped" but you need to check the gap anyways to make sure its in spec. .028 - .038 is what you want.

I use .032.

Any 2.0L protege plug wires should work...
I believe www.apexr1.com (http://www.apexr1.com) sells a set of magnecors.

And honestly, these are new ignitions, you shouldnt need new wires for a while.

I found most plugs come with a gap of 1.1mm. The MSP requires .7 to .8mm It's tough to find a plug that is pre-gapped correctly for us.

I posted some info here:

Ok, what is up with the two coils? Ive never seen 2 before. Secondly im assuming that you have to remove them to get the other 2 plugs in.

The MSP wires are so thin! They look like they are only 4mm. Anyone know as to why? I mean, my old Summit had larger wires.
