Will this fit on the MSP shifter? I was thinking of getting one since I can't find a '03 MSP shift knob anywhere, and my dealer wont give me a replacement.

I'm pretty sure that stock MSP knob is a Sparco Techno.

Not sure, though. (uhm) lol, nevermind. I'm an idiot. (smoke)

The aftermarket knobs generally have 3 set screws at the bottom so will fit a range of shifters... even the stock MSP Sparco has the 3 threaded holes at the bottom for the set screws, but apparently Sparco provided a threaded insert so the stocker would screw right on. I have an extra Sparco but I want to keep it - it's just too cool (sorry!).

You could always have a local leather upholstery shop make you a new boot for it - is that what happened to the old one? Have heard that as being an issue. Or use a sewing machine and choose your own material to boot it with...

thanks for the info...the leather wrapping around the shift knob came loose and eventually fell off. i think i accidentally threw it away and the dealer wont give me a replacement shift knob without that piece of leather..

the leather wrapping my knob is lose too, been that way since about 2 months after i got the car... hasn't fallen off yet thankfully

it does make sitting at lights more fun tho, as i can twirl that lil leather strip around and around and around.... simple minds, simple pleasures

yeah i finally took it off cause it was annoying when trying to shift and my hand would slide around...wish i wouldn't have thrown it away though :(
