Mazdaspeed Curse...!

Okay, after reading all of these msp's getting hit, keyed, and egged, Ive come to the conclusion that these cars are cursed. Ive only had mine for a month and a half and I have already seen/been in the following:

Rear End Collision
Parking Lot Fender Bender
Aggressive Driving Incident (mainly because the guy tried to cut me off but I wouldnt let him, he got pissed followed me, cursed at me, flashed his brights at me and called the cops on me, lol, btw, he was the aggressive driver attacking me!)
Nice size door ding.....I always park far away from other cars, so I dont know how I got that thing!

And then to read everyday about how all these other msp's are getting fucked up in some way either because of bad drivers or other msp hater's its hard not to believe these cars are not cursed in some way! Ive never owned a car that was a magnet to these kinds of incidents!!!

Mods, please do not delete this because I am sure......many, many, many msp owners will agree with me and share the info. I am not a religious man at all but I believe these cars were cursed in some way by a voodoo spell or black magic!

I rear ended a guy 2 months after getting my car($8,500 in damage), had my front bumper and fender chipped by rocks(about 1/8" chips), had my hood and part of my passenger side roof keyed, rocks cracked 2 separate windsheilds, got a dent on my passenger side door, and I found a flaw in my rear bumper that I didn't notice when I bought my car.

4 chips on the hood in the first 3 months

1/4" chip on the shotgun headlight

Had a big ass chip in the middle of windscreen that soon grew to a big crack!!
And two days after replacing it....another damn rock hit in the same place leaving only a small chip!

yeah I heard that, I got 2 rock chips on my windshield and one on my hood , got smacked by some lady on the rear bumper, got keyed on passenger side from the door handle to the middle of the back door, and a chunk of the lower grill is missing, oh and one of my fog lights has a rock chip in it too!!! WTF!!!!!

a month after i bought the car, i went to my first class of the semester, left the campus and saw glass all around the back of my msp. $3,698 worth of damage. A esculade slammed it in reserve and raped my car doggy style.

a couple of days ago a girl bumped into my front bumper. $560 damage

Wow, I didnt think anyone had that MANY rock chips, I better go check out my bumper. Looks like I might invest in a bra or something to protect the paint. Also, anyone else notice how loud the car is when it goes over rocks/dirt in the road? I cringe everytime I go over a road with some rocks because it sounds so loud like, its almost like I can feel the rocks chipping away at my paint.

ok i have had the worse luck ever!!

6 days after getting the MSP Laser Blue a kid hit my car with a Bicycle with an open handle bar and scraped my rear bumper let 3 scratches that cost me over 1600$ to repair still not fixed.... then later that day another kid with a bike hit the back passenger side door and left a nice dent in it with his bicycle handle... in a grocery store parkinglot ... little kids with bikes need to stay away or i kick them!!!! i have not yet cracked a windsheild but it is inevitable it will happen!!!

2nd day i got my msp...i was cruising on this road and a dumptruck coming the other way drops some gravel and shatters my windsheild!!....three weeks later my damn garage door jams up and stops at the point where i cant see the bottom of the door in my rearview....and scratches up the roof!! WTF!.....and then a few weeks later i wrecked my tranny!....i believe you man...OUR CARS ARE CURSED!!

Rock chip/small dent on the hood, scratch on driver sideskirt, hit by 3 rocks on the highway (windshield, A pillar/winshield, & fender well), silver trim around shifter scratched up, arm rest scuffed up, minor accident on rear driver side (now fixed). GRRR (argh)

The second day I had my car I almost got hit by this idiot pulling out of a parking space (South Beach and Spring Break make for tough times on new cars...). Five days after getting my car my neighbor almost backed into me with her Montero and yesterday on my way to work a lady in a Lincoln LS V8 almost took me off the road as she decided to swerve through 3 lanes in I-75 for her exit. I honked repeatedly as she was taking up half my lane, but she just kept going. If it wasn't for responsive steering and a relatively cool head it would've been ugly. I guess you can say I'm ALMOST cursed.

my car has some small rock chips, two on the passenger door, one or 2 on roof, one of passenger side front fender. I knew exactly when they happened two, because I was on the interstate and heard them hit. The other thing that happened was a deer ran into my car, i did not hit it. I am going up this mountain to a friends house, go around a corner see a dear on the side of ride, let off gas but am still rolling, deer looks like it will stay still, but right as my front bumper passes it, it runs into my car, so now I also have dent on the passenger front fender behind the tire. It is not very noticeable, unless you really know the car.

I find that people act VERY aggressively towards my car. If I pass some one, half the time they will accelerate and try to cut me off. The number of road rage incidents I've had with this car is amazing. I need to get a government grant to do some research on this matter. Is it the Orange color? Is it the spoiler? hmmm. :)

My list is growing but not too bad:

Hit by an egg from an oncoming car and it blew off a ton of paint on impact - repaired and repainted
Turbo was leaking oil - replaced
Exhaust cracked - replaced
Multiple Pine cones hitting the roof from very high pines (150ft plus) - small shallow dents in roof
Windshield Chips
Common Rock Chips on the hood and bumper
One small chip in the door that I think came from a truck on the expressway

Not too bad I guess. I think mine has less to do with luck and more to do with being very particular about my car and noticing every little flaw.

so far all i have is a slight dent in the hood, which i cant fogure out how it got there i can only guess some drunk person sat on my hood one night cause i havent hit anything and nothing has fallen on the car while i was in it. so who know?

And rear bumper backed into with scratches on the side...
all in less than 3 months

I rear ended a guy at 5mph, and put in a few little scuffs. A few coats of wax, and some black car polish and its almost all the way gone.. and only noticeable up close.
A few minor rock chips, and one curbed wheel this winter hitting a curb i didnt see when i was out pullin the ebrake.

I suppose ive had good luck, other than those, and my steering wheels had a minor scratch on the bottom leather since i bought it.

I dont think our msp's are "cursed" so much as these things happen to every car. :-/

I was ALMOST cursed again yesterday when some lady in a old Beretta just about took me when she tried to change lanes while I was RIGHT NEXT TO HER. I make a point of staying out of people's blindspots, but damn... I've never had so many near brushes with accidents in one car! I think in the two weeks I've had my 'speed I've had more close calls than since I started driving.

I put 3m on the front end of my car... it resists the rock chips quite nicely... Not sure if you guys have that down there though.

In my first weeks owning the car, I bumped some lady while merging in traffic - both of us new cars - NO DAMAGE!! THE NEXT MORNING... some lady not paying attention - bumps me in the rear! NO DAMAGE!!

Then, last Friday, I'm at a stop sign, and trying to turn right into B2B traffic - when I gfet an opening I go and stop 2 seconds later... a 4 INCH crack appeared in my winshield and grew to 9 inches since today. I brought my car to the dealership this morning, and they just called to say it wil be replaced free, as well they are going to paint my rear brake hubs a nice silver to get rid of the rust.

BTW, people in tuned cars IE civics and GTI's HATE US and OUR CARS and WANT TO RACE AT ANY OPPURTUNITY. Yesterday I had some loser in a cavalier Z-type with white wall winter tires on steel wheels, cut 5 people off just to pass little ol me, he even passed someone in the ON-RAMP lane. Fucktards....
