I was driving down Dale Mabry a main road while a 20 something year old woman thought it would be necessary to cut 2 lanes with no blinker. I saw this in the corner of my eye and cut in to avoid a total front end accident and I clipped her. She went into on coming traffic and took threee other cars out. GOOD JOB! All this with no valid insurance, and get this...she gave the police her home owners insurance card...and they wrote that up as automotive insurance coverage!!! People these days. I'll be on later to rant more...- Chris

i do drive an auto :( i wish it were a stick....

i just make sure i am very aware of my surroundings at all times...but i still manage to do my makeup every morning on the way to school while speeding, and passing those damn people who go 30 in a 35(gun)

I couldn't agree more. I am so sick of soccer moms in huge H2, and SUVs, and minivans that just dont know how to drive at all. I can't tell you how many times I have almost been hit by dumb women drivers. I know I know I am a girl, but I consider myself to be a pretty skilled driver who is in control of her car at all times. I have spent time at road courses, autox, and drag strips learning how to drive a car properly. I have been in 2 accidents in my life while driving ,both caused by other drivers b.c both times I was fully stopped. Anyways Im sorry that stupidity took out the front of your car, hopefully it will be fixed soon and back better than ever.

i agree, lol, i speed A LOT...mainly cuz i hate being around other drivers...

and 01se_to_03msp....i know exactly what you are talking about, lol...when i still had my 90 protege, im just driving along innocently eating my dbl cheeseburger going about 90 in the left lane...and i realize this gigantic black suv its fucking merging into me...i was like OH SHIT....and the thing was...and i still dont really know how i realized this...but i didnt brake cuz i remembered there was a car pretty close behind me...so i was kinda stuck...the lady obviously didnt see my teeny lil car, and there was no shoulder on this highway...maybe about 4 feet of one....and then a huge cement wall...so i kept moving into the shoulder, but i obviously couldnt get far enough outta her way...finally, i have no choice but to start braking cuz the guy behind me musta realized what was happening, cuz he wasnt so close anymore, lol, and as im slamming on my brakes, i have to swerve to the left....expecting to slam into the wall, with no airbags mind you...but right then, there happened to be an exit on the left...uhh yeah, so i didnt hit the wall, but i was headed straight for the concrete wall about to start back up again, my pro is starting to lose traction, i slowed down to about 55ish, and was able to swerve back right just barely missing the SUV's rear end...cuz the fucking lady was going like 60....

that was probably the SCARIEST moment of my life cuz all that happened in like 5-10 seconds tops...seemed sooo much longer though

afterwards, i was just literally kissing my car's steering wheel for not losing traction or anything.

i dont think the woman ever even noticed...she was all singing along to her music and dancing and shit, i wanted to rip her head off

After just one autox event I feel alot better about driving. The lanes feel HUGE on the highway now.

The only close calls I've had was this one time I was racing a jetta doing 120mph+....oh well. Making fast lane changes in a car with 196,000 mile stock suspenision and shot rear drums isn't fun.

ive had other close calls, but those were partially my fault, and were while messin around with other cars too, lol

but i wasnt putting OTHER people at risk...just switching over 3 lanes at 100+ as well...but i was fine, just lost control for maybe a split second, and then i regained it back just fine

My baby before the MSP ('00 GTI 1.8T) was hammered by a stupidass girl in a rental Jeep Wrangler - could've been very easily avoidable had she been paying attention (which she admitted to the cop) - lemmie tell ya, Girl + Jeep + Not being local/not knowing the roads/area = AWFUL.

I feel for ya man...hope it's a fast recovery for the 'Speed.... :(

In new york city woman drivers are the worst (esp. asian and jewish ones, OMG) plus cabbies, i crashed my rsx lost control and fliped like 5 times and was 60 feet off the road, i got pics of the car but i don't know how to put them up here

I was at an intersection once. I'm making a left turn. The light was red, and I had the pole position. There's no green arrow, only a green light. The person across from me was waiting to turn right (so both the person and I were going to be turning the onto the road in the same direction). The road is a two-lane road. Light goes green, the person and I both go. Now, according to what we all learn in driving school, when you turn onto a road, you are supposed to go into the closest lane and STAY there until you can change lanes. The person turning right didn't seem to understand that rule. I look to the right of me as I'm turning onto the road and realize that the other car is much closer than I thought it should be. Sure enough, SHE was turning into the left lane of the road. I had to slam on the brakes, pull full over to the shoulder, and wait for her ass to get by me. Then I punched it, swung around behind her into the right lane and passed her. She looked at me like she had no clue why I was turning with her. Too bad the Mazda horn isn't as loud as I'd like. Otherwise she would've been scared shitless. WTF!

Sorry MSP Chris. I did not get there in time to tear her and her automobile asunder in my traditional fashion. The Mazdaspeed Avenger was on the phone with a certain lady friend, but even wandering vigilantes with shattered pasts need to get their swerve on to once in a while! If it makes you feel any better I did manage to switch her Monistat vaginal antifungal cream with superglue after the accident, and I plan on putting a ham sandwich in her gas tank too. And to top it off, she driving twards me in the wrong fuck'n lane!!! I had to take a quick tight left and eat curb in order to avoid her dumb BMWSUVDRIVINGASS!!! Hear in Vegas, we have some of the worlds worse drivers, and half of them don't have a license or insurance. And lord help you (along with a good lawyer) if you ever get busted without either of them. You automatically win a nice fine of $5K and up to a month in jail(omg) .
