I saw this offered from a local company. I was looking at the SS thread w/ TWM. I see this PTuning company as one of their dealers (A local tuning company) so I decide to take a look.
I just wanted to parouse (sp?) the stuff they have for the Protege and I see this replacement filter for the 2.0 Liter:

Has anyone heard about these?
Yes, I've got a Green flat panel replacement filter. I think they filter better than K&Ns (thicker cotton filter media). It seems to flow well judging by the additional intake noise from the air box.

Cool. Something I might look into. I heard you have to clean it just like the K&N (w/ the filter charge kit) but the cotton media kinda puts me more at ease b/c you use less oil
:D Thanks JFW

Talk with Jack from ION, I am pretty sure that they are using this company for all of their intakes.

Will do :D
Supposedly they have the best filtration, like 5 microns or something like that, for any type of rechargable filter media.
*shrugs* worth a try :D

Moving to Performance. We carry the Green filter products and have nothing but good luck with them:).
