Is that where it should be? It is a 97 protege lx with 1.5 L. with overdrive. I am just wondering it just seems a little high to me.

My gearing is custom, but on my dad's 91 LX it is at that same spot. Mine used to read that too. BTW, both his and my protege's are 5-spds.
