dealer inventory

Hey does anyone know how up to date mazdausa.com inventory is compared to a dealers website. I was planning on going to the dealer after work today to order my car because they didn't have it last week but now i checked the dealer inventory on mazdausa.com and the car (options & colors) i want is there but its not listed on the dealers site brownscar.com. God i hope its there so then I can drive away with my brand new mazda6s 5-door all weekend!

It is as accurate as the dealers RDR which is retail delivery report. As long as the dealer is updating these to Mazda the website will be pretty damm accurate.

well it's been a year since i've had mine but when i was using the inventory list.. the list happened to be updated before the dealer even knew the car was coming in... i was checking like everyday waiting for my specs to come in somewhere and when i finally saw it on the list i immediately called the dealership to put a hold on it, i gave them the VIN and they looked at the inventory and didn't have it.. boy was i bummed... but i got a call 10 mins later saying he found it.. it was being shipped as we spoke... they had it 2 weeks later... but i was in agony waiting for it!

they are accurate, but it's for inventory that is on its way to the dealer, not always 100% in inventory accruate, but on it's way... if this makes any sense let me know

I agree that it is not necessary inventory on the lot, but could also be on the way to that dealer. I called on a Lapis Blue 6S with 5 speed and sport package that a local dealer was supposed to have according the the inventory search on Mazdausa.com and the guy said it was still on it's way.
