sure, but i wouldn't suggest putting them on the cars, i would get a DV valve instead.....
another BOV that is also DV (you can adjust it) is a GFB (go fast bits) BOV and i heard lots of good reviews.

i have the rfl and yes it is loud...though when pushin stock or 10 psi its not going to be loud...just the way it is with any bov.
our t25 doesnt help either.

HKS SSQV is loud as hell, as well as the greddy type S, or RFL.
Personally i think the RFL sucks though. Poor design compared to the Type S or SSQV.
The HKS also is designed to not leak at idle, so its gonna help with the "stalling" that people seem to have.

The leaking problem is caused by the single piston design of those valves.

Indeed
APexi twin champer and HKS are designed differenty. :)
Both would be a better option for our car.
I love my HKS. :)

Are you running any sort of crazy routing setup? or did you just swap in the HKS?

I can get these pipes made for about 500 for the intake and 2 i/c pipes.
Ship me the BOV, and flange, and i can probably get em fabbed in about a week, and shipped back.

I really like my Greddy type S. I bought a hardpipe to go from the turbo to the intercooler and this makes a world of difference with the volume. If you don't have enough money for a hardpipe just wait to buy everything at once. You probably won't be happy with the sound on the stock piping. I've never heard a greddy on the stock piping, but I heard an HKS SS on the stock piping and it was really lame compared to what it sounds like on the same car with only a hard pipe.
Reasons why I like it:
1) Brand Recognition / Quality - I like Greddy Products and have had no problems with mine, nor has anyone else I know personally. Plus it gets good recognition at shows and it looks VERY nice in person.
2) Adjustability - it's very simple to adjust the valve spring on the Greddy, you only need a 7/64th hex wrench thingy to tighten or loosen the valve spring. I was able to tighten mine up to the point that I have NO , absolutly none, zilch stalling issues. The reason people are having stalling issues is cause the valve on the greddy does not close soon enough, so too much air gets out. If you tighten the spring so there are about 5 threads left showing the valve closes earlier and no more stalling problems.
3) Adjustable Sound - The stock sound of the greddy is pretty cool, it's a lound schreech/whistle with a loud rush of air. But by purchasing an outlet adapter fitting you can dramatically change the sound your greddy makes. I bought a 19mm outlet adapter ($12) so I could eventually recirculate if I wanted to, and when I have it on the whistle/schreech is completly gone and only a rush of air remains. Check out the link in my sig for an old movie clip.
I'm also only running stock boost and the sound is plenty loud enough to get attention when I want it to.
---
I've heard JDM Sam's HKS SS valve in person too and it sounds pretty nice too. I choose to go with the Greddy cause of the above reasons, plus it was slightly cheaper and I didn't want to be driving around in the same car as Sam (although mine does have orange tint and an upgraded system).
have anyone tried the Blitz bov?? cause outside of the box it said "Super Sound Blow off valve DD"... how super is the sound???

I have had the blitz and compared to the RFL it is not that loud. My RFL is loud even with the stock boost. It turns peoples heads as you pass by. I havent had any problems with my RFL leaking either but it is harder to adjust since you have to add washers instead of turn a screw. When I had it on my stock piping though I did get that stalling everyone talks about cuz mines not recirculating so I had to move my MAF to the intercooler piping just before the throttle body. But it is loud though louder than the HKS's that I have heard anyway

just like a rush of air? mine sounds like a whip cracking and then a rush of air, or is yours like that. Nice sound affect though. Which one sounds kinda like a light sabre when they pull them out?
I was going around doing a search on the RFL. A.V.MSP how are u able to get a loud sound with the RFL at stock boost 6psi??? cause I read other post that to get that loud sound it has to be over 10psi...?? Any 1 knows the loudest bov for stock boost and stock pipeings??

the rfl has to be the loudest.....why else would they call it the Really FU@#&$^! Loud bov? i'm getting the blitz personally.....whenever i find the money :(. and since my summer research opportunity went up in smoke, it's gonna be a long while unless i can find a job.
oh btw, if you wanna hear clips of different bovs, check out www.blowoffvalves.com

on 10.5 lbs its loud as fuck but while on 6 lbs its louder than my blitz was by far, why I dont know. Maybe just the way it was positioned so I get almost like an echo I dont know for sure. It might also have to do with how many washers are put in to adjust it compared to other peoples. I guess you just have to find out for your self. Why some one would say its quiet I dont know but if you got it you would wonder why people would say its quiet also

i have the HKS SSQV venting to atmosphere and it's super loud... almost abnoxiously loud... i may buy the bit they sell for it that will lower the tone a bit and eliminate most of the high pitched squeal it makes

Sorry... noOobi question.. do they make adapters for the MSP for the BOV's to bolt right on? or do we have to get the hard piping and weld on the BOV? if so what companys and such would be awesome.... and where people bought their BOV's from so we get the best prices

TurboXS RFL is loud...as you can tell by the name.
Greddy Type S is loud too and its also cheap. Im a big fan of the HKS SSQV. Its pull type BOV so it doesnt leak...except if the seals are bad. I just ordered Greddy Type S becasue I got one for a decent price and its not a bad BOV at all. Hope to play around with it for a bit. But Im happy as long as it does its job.
Whatever you get it will sound cool but not spectacular at 7 psi. It will sound pretty good with hardpipes and flange. Whats with the BOV threads lately...im sure these topics have been beaten to death.

on point - yes and no. it depends on which bov you wanna go with. www.8vturbo.com (http://www.8vturbo.com) sells the flanges needed for the greddy type s and hks ssqv bovs so that you can just run a hose to the bov rather than having to weld a flange to somewhere....you'll see what i mean when you see the flange. it'll be like the forge motorsports setup. so that's 3 bovs you can use without much trouble. you could prolly use any of the turbo xs ones since they sell greddy adapter flanges (though check me on that). blitz sells a flange for their bov that will work as well.

Striker187...your the man. I just drove all over town asking if they have flanges that would allow me to clamp a greddy Type S to stock piping like my Forge BOV. thats about 2 hrs wasted when I could have just ask you.
Anyways I might be welding my own pipes but until then I wanted to test out the Greddy on stock piping. Eventually I would like to run both BOV at the same time...thats should def get rid of the turkey. I think the flutter may also be caused by the small flange on our stock piping...its only 19mm while my forge BOV is a 25mm.
Striker...im looking at the site and I still can find it...could you post the link of that flange?
