I was at Corksports site and noticed that they have a 170 hp FS ZE motor without any forced induction
so i got to thinking
could i swap that motor into my car and put my turbo onto that motor?
any thoughts?....good?....bad?

i think u can ask LinuxRacer about that 1...i believe he did the swap awhile back...i really wouldnt see why u would need to..and i think personally it would just be a waist of money..just stick with what uve got and start with that as a base...

oh....well i was just wonderin.....i know you prob will make only like 30 extra hp from 2000 dollars....but money isnt much of a deal for me.....i can get the funds
also....do these motors have better internals?

ya the motor is not worth it. its running higher compression (i think 10.1to1) Pat (linuxracer) had to put lower compression pistons anyways. Also you wouldnt get the 170hp with out the ECU also, and it wont work with our ECUs. good idea, but not worth the 2G unless you are starting with a car with no motor.

HIgher compression+boost=boom.
Not worth it at all.
If youre gonna do an engine build, then start with the motor you have, build the bottom end, and you'll be much better off.
Forged rods, pistons....etc
