Alright guys

the AEM MSP intake has been released.

Bottomline, (neglecting price diff)

They are both the same thing. There has been discussion of this in the other thread about the AEM CAI on the MSP page.

Whichever you can find cheaper (which will be the Injen) is the one you should get.

I have to agree, the Injen will be cheaper and just as good as the AEM, I think there are 2 or 3 threads discussing this right now.

Go with the INJEN. Looks better than other AEM's that I have seen. I think its better quality. Bottom line: get rid of that plastic box and upgrade to an aftermarket intake kit of your choice.

according to the dynos (not talking about how much HP or the ability to duplicate those numbers) the injen produces substantial gains in the low to mid rpm's with not so much up high.......while the AEM makes not much down low...with a little more in mid .....and most of its gains up high.........

so they are not the same (per say)but you have to decide if you want to improve your low end or high end......low end = everyday driveablity and of the line power......high end = power at speed.

I will personally go with the Injen as it seems to have produced the largest gain in the area under the graph ........the more area that is increased under the graph the faster/quicker the car regardless of where the gains occur (within reason)

check out their web sites the graph will be there

ps. the minimal gains up top on the injen is probly due to the back pressure in the exhaust so if you are planing to change your exhaust i'd definately go with the injen....it will probly open up the top end then...........

this all coming from a former honda boy who thought that AEM' s CAI was the second coming of the christ.............hahahaah

i think that both are the same. Its your decision which one looks better and which one gains more power. imo

Those dynos can't be trusted. They are the same. What is there to be different? Same type filter, same size tubing, same route through the engine compartment, filter sits in the same area.
