What's the best way to get the upper IC pipe off? I can pull all day on that damn thing and can get it to move about a quarter of an inch...
Any suggestions would definitely be helpful!

pull harder ;), and wiggle it. Try not to put to much stress on the flex joints if you can help it.

as suggested by othe rmembers on the board, use a hari dryer to heatup where the pipe is connected. I konw i had a hell of a time getting my stock IC pipes off. Have fun tugging.

Yes use a hairdryer. There is a piece of rubber between the pipe and the intercooler, it's a bitch to get off. Also try twisting when you are pulling.

Do I have to reverse the process to get it back on, or should it go on easier than it comes off?

heat gun, low setting, around the circle of base for 10 seconds, comes right off
