Does anyone know if you can have stock rims done in hyperblack? i think that it would look good on my mica back 3?

I think you'll be amazed at the colors and textures available in powdercoat. Flats, high glosses, clearcoats, etc. Hit the yellow pages, or check with a local Harley customizing shop to find a good powdercoater. I had thought about blackening the wheels for my Mica, too, so would be very interested in seeing it done, or see at least a Photoshop version.....

Jeez just get some tint and black out the side marker and Darth Vader would be envious - I like it. (boom03)

Yeah I like it to...

I think it looks very stealthy..

I noticed with the 3, the color you purchase it in will make or break the car.
black will 100% make it.

black will 100% make it.

Sure... as long as you don't mind washing it on an hourly basis.

Levitron, is that actually a flat black on the wheels?

Yeah, it's a 'chop. I did it a while ago to see how my car would look if I lowered it and coated my rims.

Right now I've got tinted windows and a stubby antenna, but that's it. Lowering will happen sometime later, when parts get cheaper.

Nice 'shop job. I'm impressed. Can you do me one of a Tite gray 3 with Tite gray wheels? :D

Cool. No rush. It's not like I'min the market for new wheels yet. Not with only 2000 miles on the factory ones.

I do like having things powder coated, though. :D

Cool. Thanks!

Except... well... ummm... I was hoping for Tite gray wheels, not black. (shrug)

I'm curious what it would look like with body color wheels.
