Just wanted to take the time to thank Mazda for creating the MSP. Why? Handling. Saved my life today with it. Going to work today, I was behind a van going about 45mph and we were both going down this exit ramp onto the highway. Next thing I know, the van just suddenly stops and it looked as if it hit a brick wall, little did I know there was a car stopped in the middle of the exit ramp trying to pull off to the side of the road. The van basically hit the back of this car going about 45-50mph and I was about 8 feet away when I had to slam on my brakes and swerve to avoid this car. Now, your saying so what plenty of room to swerve around right? Not really, to the left of me was a guardrail and to the right was about 8 feet of grass and then a cliff/hill that goes straight up. If I didnt have the speed I wouldve ended up hitting the cliff and tearing my car up, but with little body roll the speed saved my ass today :)
Figured this would go good with all the speeds out there that wrecked BECAUSE of the handling.
Thanks Mazda.

Wow! glad to hear you are okay. I've only had my MSP a couple months and it has already saved my ass. I was staring jaw-dropped at a gorgeous FD Rx-7 in the opposite lane and I looked up just in time to see the jeep in fron of me had slammed on its brakes and I promptly hit mine, I came within mere inches of rear-ending him.

The MSP has saved my ass twice!!! I've had to swerve while braking full bore and pulled out of shit that would have totalled any other car! The first time I ninja-dodged a car that made a left in front of me I was like, "DAMN!!!" And that was the first week I had my car! Would have sucked to total it then!

Saved me yesterday. I was going thru an intersection when some fat harley bitch driving her harley davidson edition F150 decides to floor it thru an intersection that WASNT a 4way stop. I get half way thru and she's barreling at my drivers side front corner. I swerve hard to the right then whip it back to the left and my rear end damn near went around..(which on a fwd is hard to do!).....I was just shocked that i didnt get hit!!

Again, thank you Mazda. Sometimes I wonder what the boundaries of the car are, especially seeing all these other owners that have crashed testing them.

Yeah, this car is a magnet on the highway for people to cut over on you when u're right beside them. I've had this happen 2 different times, with a guy coming from the left cutting into my lane, and someone on right, so i had to slam on breaks, needless to say i have hot spots, but not bad, but its happened atleast 4 different times since i got the car, i would be dead by now with my old car. (by the way i have a titanium speed)

Good brakes saved my ass. I had to slam on them when someone pulled out in front of me. My last car would have t-boned her ass for sure!

Yes the excellent handling and brakes on this car make me feel safer...they've prevented me from getting into accidents more than a few times.

While my great power/handling and need for speed have almost caused a few lol.. (hand)
I had an incident with a moose that made me appreciate my car ( MP3 at the time) so much more. Any other car I think I would have flipped it because I had to turn so fast. The thing stays planted so well it's crazy.
