I remember a year and a half ago, when I first was going to buy a mazdaspeed, the dealer told me that soon after the car was released (6months or so) that mazda/mazdaspeed would be releasing a ton of aftermarket parts for it. Did they ever release those, or did that fall through? I tried searching, but typing in the words mazdaspeed and aftermarket bring me nothing... And I didnt deal with that dealer when I bought this car.

Goto a mazda show room, you can buy mazdaspeed style springs, shocks, the muffler, interior accents etc.
Its all the standard stuff on the MSP stuff, aimed at upgrades for the p5, and regular protege. :)

I also read a few things about an i/c upgrade coming out too.

Yeah, I wrote to Mazda about it and it didn't sound like they had any interest in producing higher-performance parts.

Oh wells, that's what the aftermarket is for I guess.
