Both work equally well. If you go for the TurboXS one you are paying for the name, and the fact that it looks prettier. Both function exactly the same, and both work great in our cars.
Very easy to install. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to put in, and about 10-15 minutes to tune it to the right setting.

make sure you have some extra vacuum hose 3/16th, when you install the MBC. Some people are having issues with the stock wastegate hose crumbling apart, if this is the case, just replace it.

If I were you, I'd buy from joe. First, I hear it's a great product at a great price, and second, he's helped our community a ton, and it's the least we can do but give him some business. Either one will give the same performance most likely, though.

Yea as much as the MSP community supported Joe, there were alot that didnt... hence the msp section on his site.
He'll still sale you any of the MSP parts, but you gotta ask him nicely first.
I do however plan on emailing him and seeing if i can become an MSP vendor, and have the orders possibly go through me on the site, with hopefully some stock at my house ON hand ready to ship.
We'll see.

Joe doesn't really seem to want our business anymore. If he did then he wouldn't have made the posts that he did. Send your business to someone who wants it... boostsciences.

The only advantage of the turbo xs is to turn the boost all the way down. Where as with the joe you can't turn down to stock boost.

I agree. If someone wants to talk down to the MSP owners on this forum, he won't have their business for long. Someone else will make a FPR and FCD soon enough, and a MBC is the same no matter who you get it from.

You get what you pay for. While Joe's might be less expensive, it does not have the R&D behind it and the support of TurboXS. If you want the best bang for the buck, buy the TXS-DSBC and you will have two stages of boost on demand. Definitely replace the stock hose with a new one from your favorite auto parts store.
TurboXS makes great products and there history and commitment speaks for itself. I use their products on all of my turbo cars. Its the best mbc out there.

You can't turn the boost down to stock or below stock boost with any MBC.
Just having the MBC on the line acts as a small restriction, so boost will be increased a bit just having it on, even when adjusted to the lowest setting. Now how much more boost you get with the JoeP versus the TurboXS I don't know.
