What the hell is the little plug that is to the left of the steering column on the inside top of the empty space. It probally will never get used but I am just wondering what its function is. Thanks

Totally different.

ECU tells your engine how to run.

OBD tells a tech why it isn't.

You will probably never have a use for it yourself.
