Hi... just got my 03.5 Titane Speed three days ago and I just have one word to say : INCREDIBLE :D !!! Cant wait to get past the braking period of 1000km to see what that beast got inside (ricer) !!!

Question: Im hearing a sound coming from the back when I hit a bump... I know all about the clunk and since my Speed is new its not that. Is it the rear deck thats knocking !? If so, can I go the dealer to get some foan place in !?

Also, I wanna teint my window, but I dont know which style would look the best !? So I would like to see differents teints on a 03.5 Titane Speed like classical black, mirror or 'black with a small mirror band at the bottom' (just dont know the name of that last one :))!

Thanks

Mirrored tint looks cheap and ghetto, IMO. Just do regular tint.

As far as the amp rack rattle, please see my "COMMON MAZDASPEED PROBLEMS/FIXES" thread.

Regular on a silver car. Don't make the car look French.

here I have a vid with some pics of black tint on my titanium. (mine is 12% though, I think which is illegal in most places) :)

Thanks I just checked that thread out...

By the way, can you take care of the rattle caused by bump the same way than the one caused by the BASS coming from the SUB by ading some foam !?

Thanks

Congrats on the new car! I think you probably found one of the last few available.
Be sure to get the production number from Mazda and post it here:

The rattle is most likely your suspension, even if brand new. Mine showed up with something like 200 miles. Search for the clunk (klunk) threads.

I'm voting against mirror tint.

Get a fully metalic tint.
Here's an example of Alta Mere 451 35%:

It looks darker in the sunlight and from certain angles is opaque but is easy to see out of no matter what the light.

How can that be possible the bushing are brand new  !? Also, the sound is not that loud and I guessed the clunk was louder !!!
For the metalic tint, by the picture it just look like regular tint (scratch) !?

I think the bushings that come on the cars allow for movement even when brand new. Mine's been clunking since before I finished break-in back in October/November.

It was cloudy out so the tint just looks black. The cool thing about metallic tint is when the light source is above or behind the person they just see their reflection but the person on the inside of the car can see out no problem.
Go to a tint place and have them put metallic, mirror, and normal tint on a window just to look at it. Fully metallic provides the benefits of mirror tint without looking ghetto.
