The time has finally come that I want to sell my Prelude. I took out the car for the first time in about 2 months over the weekend. It was a beautiful day and I took it down the shore. Everything was perfect but I realized that I just don't have the opportunity to enjoy this car as it was meant to be. I want to give someone else the chance to appreciate the car and enjoy it for what it is worth.

My wife is going to be going to grad school and it would be nice to not have to take out a loan for the schooling - another reason for selling.

I don't want to hagel over price or anything. I think I have priced the car reasonably based on its condition and low mileage. Title is in my hand and ready to transfer.

$10,000 firm

I know this is a Protege board but I would appreciate any of you telling your friends who may be interested in this kind of car.

Here's the deal:

1994 original VTEC (not a swapped engine) with 77,380 miles. Car is not daily driven and is garage kept. Never been raced on the track or the streets. I drive like a grandma and do not like to abuse my cars. Tranny shifts with no problems and still on the original clutch (testimate to how the car was driven). Rarely hit VTEC and always shift at or below 3000 RPM. The car is only taken out about once a month to get exercise around the block, otherwise it is in the garage.
- Timing belt, all drive belts and water pump were changed a little over 3 years ago with 72,000 miles on the car.
- Valves adjusted shortly after that
- Oil changed every 3,000 miles for the first year I used it as a daily driver. After I stopped driving it the oil was changed every 6 months because the car sees about 200 miles a year.
- Three year old Die Hard battery
- Balancer shaft retainer recall performed
- STR cam seal replaced leaky distributor side seal
- Tranny fluid changed about 2 years ago with Honda MTF

The car needs nothing and is an absolute pleasure to drive - That's why I'll miss it. Nothing wrong with the car at all and everything works (cup holder, antenna, etc).

In this pic you can see the rear tower bar. There is also a 9" red neon tube on the underside of this tower bar and there is another red neon tube right at the rear of the trunk. These tubes automatically turn on when you open the trunk is opened. This is the picture I gave to Modacar for their site.

Here is another picture I found of the enclosure. It is fully built into the wheel well (no spare tire - but it can easily be removed). I built the box out of 3/4 inch wood and topped it off with sheet metal so it would provide a reflective surface for the neon lights to bounce off of.

Here are two more pics that I took of the car when I entered it into an Import Eurasia show here in Jersey. These pics justify the paint quality.
