Fuckin dealer keeps on blowing me off "everything is with in spec" when the car is clearly fucked up. You can feel the whole car shake when braking and the steering wheel shaking as well, but no everything is fine.(jerkit) And these bastards don't want to go for a drive with me because they can't be in a car that will be moving faster than the speed limit(jerkit) . They just take my car "up to 65 mph" and everything is fine! My whole problem is that the car vibrates above 80mph. Ok whatever...fast forward to tonight...I bought some ramps and went underneath the car to take a look, because everthing started when I had my front bushings changed as far as vibration when driving and now something that's related to steering is also going on me. I can feel everything through the steering wheel and over crappy roads going slow I get a little knocking and rattling in the steering wheel. Everything I can get to underneath the car that's part of the steering and suspension is tightened up by me to about 110 ft/lb. Some of the bolts were torqued much less than the others...I guess the tech didn't tighten the bolts down all the way when he changed the bushings. Also my steering is choppy especially when I apply throttle as I'm turning...the steering wheel will have a tendency to jerk as the motor moves on the crappy mounts. I've also noticed that the whole steering assembly underneath the car moves a little left and right as the steering wheel is turned to either direction...but I think that's normal. I think I've traced the problem to somewhere between the steering wheel and the steering rack. I can move the steering wheel left and right as the car is off and can hear/feel some knocking somewhere between the steering wheel and the rack. The main reason I posted this thread is because I would like for somebody with an MSP to drive around in a circle at low speed(5mph)with the steering wheel lock all the way to one side or the other. When I do this I can clearly hear a screeching sound about once every revolution of the wheel. It sort of sounds like the tires are screetching but Im not sure... However, the car still handles very good and is very tight around corners with minimal lean. I've made an appointment with a different dealer, the one that originally fucked up my steering. Ofcourse I went back the next day...hehe but they couldn't feel any difference...what's new, we even drove a new MSP and compared. We'll see how it goes. The problems with brakes is a repeated problem...even after I had all my rotors replaced...I don't know what's going on here. And I dont even race my car in a way that would put abnormal stress on my brakes or any suspension part...I wish I did now that all this is happening. Hopefully one of these dealers will take care of my car. It's not like I got the time to argue with dealers every day...but who does? If that was the case I wouldn't leave lol
Thanks.
