I just ordered Clear Sidemarkers for my MP3

I went to the dealership and ordered the clear side markers for the Protege5 2002 model and they will be here when they get here I guess. It cost me a total of 62.00 and some change. That is a hell of a lot better than the 150 dollar ones. I was going to get some that had to be modified but I just wanted some that were made for my car. I will post the part number if anyone wants it. Thanks!

Are those the smaller clears that are high and behind the wheel well on the 2002.5 or replacements for the larger ones at the bumper?

I never seen any P5's with clear side markers behind the rear of the front wheel well.... I only sene them on the tribute... but they are identical to ours... orange

all 2002 proteges come with the clear markers now, the protege5 ends up with two sets...wtf, anyhow, i saw a regular protege, with clear markers and temp tags...and wanted to yank them so bad,hehe:mad:

I ordered a set of the clear sidemarkers for the 2002/3 P5 for my MP3 also I paid 63.66 but they look exactly the same as the ones that are on the MP3 stock except they are clear. Which makes them perfect I just hope they aren't too hard to install and I hope I don't break anything.;)

WTF!!!! I want to my dealer yesterday, and I was going to order them. They told me they were $87 after taxes. Can you guys order me some from your dealer and ship them for me. I know it's asking a lot, but I'd rather not get ripped off by my dealer. I got some free MP3 floor mats though. My heel pad started coming up so they are ordering me a new set of mats. If anyone out there wants new mats, just pull up half of your heel pad on your mats. Then go the the dealer and get new ones under waranty. Sneaky huh. They screw us,....we screw them.

I hate dealerships!!! I went down to the dealership here in Colorado Springs and got new floor mats (the patch was pulling up)and some touch up paint. I tried to order the P5 lights like you guys were talking about. He pulled the one on the front bumper and said that was the only one he could find for the 02 P5. I really don't think those will fit at all. Plus the dip shit tried to charge me 55.00 a piece. Long story short I need to get the part number for that. Please help me out!!!!

I got my Side markers installed. It took a total of 2 and a half mins to put them on. They fit exactly!!! Ill post the part number. Taken pics today also!

tight... did they come with a template? or just pop on, pop off type?

It is the lens, and the casing....so what i did was take my finger nails, went to the tip of the sidemarker and pryed outwards and the whole light and housing comes out. Thats what you get with the part number up top. Once you recieve the Light casing and lens made together you will see what you have to do. They look great!

Hey I was web surfing and came across this site... Here (http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/frontindicators.htm) and found These (http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/images/Ultra/fo30l99.jpg) They also have them in Smoke (http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/images/Ultra/fo30l99s.jpg) and Blue (http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/images/Ultra/fo30l99b.jpg)
They look the same but not sure if they are a perfect fit or not.

I ordered mine from here: http://www.ozeparts.com.au/ The difference between these and the ones you will receive from Mazda dealers is, they are EXACTLY the same except for one thing. The ones from this site have chrome plating on the inside of the sidemarker, which gives it a more chrystaline look opposed to the ones from Mazda which are white inside. I order these and received them in about 3 weeks from Australia. I was VERY pleased with the staff there.

BTW, those smoked sidemarker will fit only if you attach them with a set of butterly anchors...like the ones used to attach item like shelves to drywall.
