Should I get the mp3 from mazda or buy a new radio ?

I was wondering if it's worth getting the mp3 radio from mazda or let the default stereo am/fm cd that come with the gt gfx and buy a mp3 player myself ?

all I want to know is, does the one coming from mazda is good enought ?
