how much does a stock headlight assembly run from the dealer?

i cant tell ya for sure, but i heard it was HELLA expensive. like in the hundreds...maybe 1-300 bucks i think.

I'm gonna be selling my stock headlights. If ghost doesn't want them(he kinda called dibs), I'll put them up in a week or so. :)

I need a new left headlight assembly and the dealer quoted me at $325 installed. Something like 250-275 just to get them without the labor. WAY TO EXPENSIVE.

Yep that is about right, I had to have mine replace after this high school girl hit my car when it was icy out.

Mazdaformance quoted me something along the lines of 175-185 per side. Still expensive but better than paying what the dealer wants.

quick ebay search turned that up. . . when i got in my accident i found my headlight on ebay and got the left side for 40 shipped. . there is also i girl selling sedan lights for 110 Buy it now for the pair plus shippin

guess its a good thing I wasnt holding my breath. (jerkit)I hope you're not pissed at me. I had to recieve my other lights in the international mail before I could sell my stock ones. That, and...oh yeah, MY FUCKING CAR BLEW UP!

Also, I hadn't even talked to my original buyer when you posted "thanks"...THEN I found out that you PM'd him about it...? To be honest, that tactic kind of threw me.
To top it off, we never even made a deal, yet you give me the beat-off smiley when I don't have them for you now.

One last thing:If you read my 2nd post in this thread, it says in about a week. That was on the 13th. It is now the 19th.

I'll just keep 'em. God knows I can always sell my CAD ones if I need the money, and the stock ones are obviously available elsewhere. I was just trying to save a fellow Protege owner a couple hundred bucks.

yeah well I guess you go ahead and do that and save us both some money, found out it was smoke from the wires on the inside of mine...wiped right off, then remembered a couple of days later that you had yet to even check or respond to the post...just some comment about you not talking to him yet as if I would actually post something he hadnt said..but whatever dude, its cool.

And me going to Ghost wasnt a tactic, its called asking someone for a favor.
