Well i already purchased my injen and based off some of the input ive read on this board, it isnt a good idea with a FMIC? Is this due to the length of piping on the CAI? Is it too long? Im guessing the SRI would reside in the same location as the stock airbox? Im guessing since the FMIC would provide massive amounts of cooling there wouldnt be a need to place the filter in a colder place?
All opinions are welcome....thanks!

i dont know, the colder the air the better. I made the cai into a sri because of the flooding that happens here in florida

Search "SRI CAI" and read a few of the results. This has been discussed in great detail before.

Quicker spool up, even quicker with a 2.5-3" exhaust setup. Definitely the way to go.

Quicker spool up from what I understand. compressor doesnt have to work as hard sucking air. thats why many put filters right on the compressor or run without filters. Just gives you more power at a lower RPM. The hp are pretty much the same for SRI and CAI. AEM has a dyno sheet lying around with SRI vs CAI.
