My boss (wife) is letting me order some stuff (thumb) . It took a lot of sucking up and (godown) , but then again I do that for free anyway. I ordered the FMIC kit and the down-pipe back exhaust system. Don't quite have enough money now for the full turbo-back, but I can always upgrade later down the road. Jack at iON is great and was a lot of help. Always got a reply back from him within a day. Now comes the hard part...the wait. I feel like a kid around Christmas. I know iON has a history of long waits but I have never heard any of their customers say it wasn't worth it. Anyway, can't wait to be in the "club" of MSPs with iON kits.

Hopefully there will be quite a few of us joining that club all at once if the FMIC GB goes through.

There have been a few of us over the past couple of weeks that have sent Jack our payments already. He's supposed to be shipping my FMIC out in a few days(hopefully).
And Jrod, if you've been waiting since November and Jack hasn't gotten back to you, maybe you should call him and ask whats up. I dunno, just a thought...

most expensive club on the planet, i hate their prices

meh most their prices aren't that bad considering some of the products they sell are hard to come by, even more so since Spool closed down. THE FMIC is a bit steep, but pretty good discount and not many people currently produce them. Match that to the fact it is coming from Canada which can raise the prices somewhat. More than make up for it by the help they provide when asked nicely.

(mswerd) you get what you pay for, and I am not bashing the other guys that are making FMIC's, from what I see they are not proven yet. Thats why my money goes to ION, because I know what I am getting and I will give the extra money for an excellent product.

I'm waiting for enough people to buy in to form a 10 person GB. I put my money down a while back to reserve one of the FMICs from the last batch of 20 he had made, but I've held off on shipping because if he gets enough people for the GB it will be reduced (if not free shipping for the Cont. U.S.). For Hawaii it will be 50% off shipping which trust me is a lot of savings.
Anyhow, since I am in no big hurry to get mine on I'm hoping he'll get enough people to save us all a little money.

That doesn't seem worth it at all. The prices are fine considering what you are buying but waiting several months isn't worth it IMO. Unless it's a group buy why pay for what's not in stock?

Wow, congrats! You will have a fun piece of machinery when it's all bolted up. This car just needs a mild amount of effort to increase the fun factor by a ton. It's never going to be a track monster but the driveable power and stock handling makes these upgrades a perfect combination.
