its an mp3 player
you burn a cd in mp3 format, and the player can play the files.

not burned cd's with mp3 files.
You can fit about 10 albums on a CD if you burn the mp3 files to the disc. Our radio can read those discs :)

It depends on the format that the burner puts the songs into. I'm sure somebody knows more about this than I do, but basicaly you can put a ton of mp3's on a cd and only about 10-14 songs that are burned in the format that most cd players can read. If you can't hold at least 50 songs on your cd then they are not in mp3 format.
Nobody is being a smartass here, everyone has been right as far as I know.

Dude I dont mean to be the one to tell you but...read the threads! You can burn MP3's from your computer onto a cd IN MP3 FORMAT (i.e lots of them on one cd) and then play them on your stereo. Enjoy...

Don't burn an audio CD...you want to make a data CD..then just create folders on the CD, drag and drop files, and burn :)

This comment is useless and smartass if you ask me.Not if you ask me. Our radio can play MP3s.
And there's a lot of information about this in the manual for the stereo...it tells you what bitrates the MP3 files have to be, how the unit goes through the folders on the CD, etc. etc.
