Who here has the MP3 with the most horsepower?

oh boy, here it comes. I can hear it now. "My CAI adds 10 HP, it says so" The only way you can take HP numbers as fact is if there is a dyno chart with it. There is no way to tell how much power a modification adds without the dyno.

My MP3 has right at 200 whp. I swear! I dreamed about it last night, so it must be true right? :)

i got mine from japan , 170hp 4wd...and i had exhaust , flywheel , CAI...should be around 195hp... it has to be true :p :p :p

I saw in a magazine that mine was 215hp... it must be true! Probably because of my cone air filter and my stickers ;)

Well this past weekend me and my friend went to the local "Pick and Pull" junk yard and found a newly wrecked Lamborghini Murcielago. We pulled the 6.2 Liter V12 from it that makes 580 HP. it only cost me $500!!! Well anyway we dropped it in my MP3. Just finished last night. I just drove it this morning and although my stock MP3 was pretty powerful as it was, I can already REALLY feel a difference. I will get it dynod as soon as possible to see exactly what the gains were but I bet they are significant. I cant wait to find a civic SI or a Neon RT at a stop light. Maybe even an RSX. I'm pretty sure I'll smoke them. :D ;)

BTW, just FYI, I suspect that the Diablo and Murcielago cars are built on the same platform as our Proteges because the engine fit in perfectly!!! Now I know how everyone is sayong how the Pros and the Focus are pretty much the same but I think maybe they need to take a closer look at the Lamborghinis more closely. The similarities are uncanny!! They are almost the same car except for a few minor things. I think the Lambo is just on a stretched chasis. Anyways, I am gonna start lokking at Lamborghini performance sites to see if I can find any compatible parts that we can use on our MP3's. I'll call around and let you know what I find. I highly reccomend this. It makes quite a difference. Just go to your nearest junkyard and look around. It shouldnt be too hard to find a Murcielago or a Diablo. Good Luck! :D :D :D ;) :rolleyes:

yeah i highly doubt this. Are you kiddin? dude what are you talking about. I dont think you can just stick that engine in there and it will work just fine. Our tranny and everything else couldnt handle that power. Ill have to see pics

Ur had to put one in urself?? Mine came factory! its said V12 on the engine when i bought it... Oops.. not supposed to tell anyone..coz the dealership said that 1 out of 500 of the MP3s made came like that.. a limited limted edition :D

OMG Leonardo, I thought I was the only one pulling Lamborghini engines from junkyards! Before I had my MP3 I had a Geo Metro and I did the EXACT same thing! I swear, I owned the road!! But I think the vinyl stickers were what really gave me a 9-second car :D

I would have to give the 2 peeps that believed the story a 1% credit ( out of 100 ) Beacuse at least they bought an MP3. ( at least there's 1498 other peeps who hopefully have a clue ) But they had better check under the hood of the MP3 for that WONKA'S Golden Ticket For all the free stuff from Mazda. Only 1 of 1500 :D
