It's the exact same as the MP3 exhaust & probably bigger than the P5 or sedan.

If you're talking about just the axle-back, that's one thing, but the piping on the MSP isn't a constant diameter...it varies from like 1.8-2.25. Please search next time.

are the crushes that make the piping small in the catback portion or between the cats? or both?

The MSP doesn't have a cat-back...it's an axle-back.

The Racing Beat exhaust is an axle-back:

The path goes like this: turbo, downpipe, midpipe (with cats), S-pipe, Racing Beat axle-back.

wait dont refer to the piping after the cats as a s-pipe becuase ppl refer to the dp as the s-pipe...ull only confuse them.......the racing beat section is an axle back.....but from the cats back....the whole thing is a cat-back.....when u buy a greddy or whatever cat-back exhuast u are replacin all the piping (resonator too) from the cats all the way to the muffler.....u shouldnt separate the axle back section from the piping leadin to the cats....its basically a cat-back system

it alternates...between the cats and resonator it is small....after the resonator its larger then is smaller...its basiclaly a mess :) if u like the racing beat axle back section....by that and just get custom piping to the cats :)
