Recall someone mention they knew a non-forum member who had over 120k on his P5.
I was getting close with 39k in just over a year, but I switch to commuting to work. Before that it was 150-160 total work each day. Averaged out to around 200 a day with doing stuff after work. Then another 150ish on the weekend driving to Richmond. Did that chit for almost a year in my Saturn, before it died. Was annoying to have to fill up each day on gas, and a oil change every two weeks. lol

I believe we're expected to drive 24,000KM per year on average. So, you can generally judge how much over or under you are by working the math.

Your clutches should last you well into the 90,000 mile range. I haven't touched mine and I'm always spinning tires and engine braking.

Not in the Dirty South. They just have little signs that you stick to your personal vehicle while your delivering.

actually 90 percent of the places in Northern Virginia/Maryland make you use your own car to deliver pizzas also..

Oh...if you have a Jaguar you have a good enough job that you don't have to deliver pizzas..or vegetables.

Can you imagine how much a business would have to shell out if it had to own a fleet of cars to deliver. Maintenance, insurance, fuel, etc.... Of course they are going to stick it with the employees - that way they can pay them a huge salary (Hmmm, I think a can smell a batch of sarcasm brewing...)

Actually when I was working for Domino's we had a guy that worked part time and drove a Jag. He was like an insurance sales man or something and was just picking up extra cash. And one time when my manager won a Corvette in a sales contest she let us take turns using it for a few days to make deliveries. That was a blast. Usually people are shocked at the 5. "Pizza must be paying well for you to drive a car like that." they always say. I just smile :)

August 2002 31,000 miles So far so good. Bad tie rod bushing but thats all.
I'm at 85,000 miles for my 2002 P5. I had some interior molding get warped and my sunroof got stuck. Thankfully, both were before the warrany expired. My accessory belt snapped around 40k. And my headlight bulbs have gone out twice. Currently my A-pillar is more loose than I'd like.

105,000 miles on my '03 purchased december 2003
front end collision in 2003
no mods except i got rid of those crappy tires in favor of some nexens, then toyos
tune ups, brakes and oil changes as needed
new wheel bearings in the front
just replaced a valve seat / cylinder head
other than that, no real problems.
so.... anyone run one into the ground yet?

Approaching 90K on our 2003 purchased in February of 2003.
Oil changes every 4K
20K ABS Sensor replaced under warranty
30K new Toyo tires, spark plugs, and air filter
60K new rotors and pads
65K eBrake was sticking in cold weather
70K replaced struts (prolly due to lowering springs)
75K flushed tranny and coolant, replaced battery (due to stereo)
80K Front end repaired after my wife's parking lot incident
80K new spark plugs and air filter
85K Windshield replaced after a rock hit it on the highway
I think that's about it. Haven't touched the timing belt yet. We will probably need new tires by the summer depending on how long we keep the snows on this winter. Clutch feels fine and the car runs like a champ. My wife drives it most of the time now and her only complaint is the noise (prolly due to CAI and MSP exhaust).
Only 91k more miles since my last post in this thread. Roughly 175,000 now. I'm not using it for road trips anymore and the commute is no where near what it used to be.
I replaced the bulbs several more times. I liked the Sylvania Silverstars, but they weren't lasting. I put in Osram Silverstars this past summer and they've lasted a lot longer than any of the other bulbs.
I swapped in a 6k mile motor at around 129k miles, spring 2005. Easier than changing the timing belt . . . j/k, I threw a rod.
I put in a couple more sets of brake front pads. I liked the grip of Axxis, but there was a lot of dust. The current generic set are terrible, I'm might change them just out of spite. They came with a set of front calipers I put in this past summer. The front right caliper wasn't sliding right, so I swapped both front calipers with re-builts. The rear pads are on their second set and have plenty of meat.
I put in Espelir springs and Tokico Illumina struts last summer. I like the ride, but my wife and daughter hate it and voice that frequently. My son is indifferent. I put in new ball joints, outer tie rod ends, and some bushings around the same time. Oh Progress rear sway bar, too.
The header recently cracked at one of the welds, but I don't have any plans to swap it anytime soon.
Hmmm tires. . . I lost count. I replaced the Dunlops with Kuhmo Ecsta (currently SPT, but had Supra 712) at around 45k miles and use them in the summer. Michelin Artic Alpins in the winter.

i looked at the michelins... seemed like people didn't like em enough to warrant the price. went with hancook w300s... good value i think. they get me through the new england winters. toyo proxes 4 in the summer and i <3 them.
