View Full Version : Ignore feature more accessible
Hi people,
I've made the ignore feature more accessible. You can now ignore a user by just clicking on their name above their avatar, a drop down menu should appear, and choose the last option in the drop down list (add user to your ignore list).
Please consider the use of this feature when a member really annoys you.
Thanks.

any way to make it so ignored users' posts dont even show up? right now there is just a censored box, but it would be nice to not even see anything.

What happens when someone quotes that person's post or responds to something they said...there's no point in hiding the posts.

If person A doesn't ignore person B but person C ignores person B person C will still be able to read the post of person A that quotes person B.
If some Wicks are Slicks, and some Slicks are Snicks, then some Wicks are definitely Snicks. The statement is
a) true
b) false
c) neither
and starving russian is right.. the system doesn't know that you quoted someone on someone else's ignore list, once a post is quoted it becomes text, all relationship to the quoted post is lost

there are still an overwhelming number of posts that arent quoted, so id still rather just have those posts not appear.

true, that placeholder annoys me too. I will see if I can turn it on for mods only and off for everyone else.
SeñorCorwin, how much did you donate or is it a 5$ / mo subscription?

It seems to me to be pretty close minded to not even admit that posts from people you don't agree with exist. Even Matty, who I often disagree with, has good advice now and then.
