wheels peeling

I just got off the phone w/ the Mazda dealership, and they said that they would replace them with another set of the same wheels. I feel like it is a problem with all of the wheels. If anyone else is having this problem, please post it. The dealership said that if enough people are having the same problem, the wheels could be replaced with a different type or something of that nature. :mad:

Do you have pics of how bad they are pelling? mine have small dots that seem to chip off. i would like to see how bad urs are peeling

i don't have pics, but it looked like a chip, and when i touched it, the silver started peeling off

My wheels aren't peeling yet, but they are full of little dots. they still look decent from a distance, but are horrible close up. :( :mad: :( :mad:

Mine are like that too!! and i followed the instructions and did not use any chemicals at ALL!!! :mad: :mad:

I just bought an '02 P5 with only 23000 kms and the wheels are peeling. I'm first going to a dealer and then calling Mazda Canada.

umm mine are sort of peelin. its more of chips n curbs than peelin, but my sis 00 es is peeling mad crazy. the clearcoat is almost off

mine look like someone spilled grey paint on my wheels how it looks but it is just the silver coating comming off my wheels..

I just bought an '02 p5 - private sale. Only 23k and warranty up in Nov '05. Just brought it into the dealer today - Westdowne Mazda in Etobicoke, Ontario Canada. They gave me 4 BRAND NEW SPANKING RIMS - no questions asked. I suggest you all do the same!!!

Which tires came stock? Cuz the ones on mine are the Yokohama Parada's they look brand new but i'm not sure if those were the ones the dealership put on.

Mine have been peeling for a while....something tells me they won't warranty it (notcool) I'm not gonna even try
