But can you spin your tires at all? If not, that's why the hop is gone.

is the wall size the same as the Potenza???also, if it's a bit less of a sticky compound, that might help too.

sidewalls may be less stiff then the potenzas....also now that my potenzas are worn down a lil i dont have as much wheel hop

How much did you pay for the tires? and do you have a pic of the treads?

these are the tires i was thinking about getting when the potenzas die.

they do make them in a 215/45/R17 and they have a very aggressive tread pattern too.

where did you buy them from and how much?

I didn't have wheel hop for a few days either. These Neo-Gen's are some sticky mo-fo's I'll tell you that. I scratched second gear so loud the first day I had them, you would have sworn it was a first gear burn out:D It'll come back though. My wheel hop is as bad as ever...

small sidewalls+stiff suspension+loose engine mounts=wheelhop.

heres a picture of the neo-gens i got: http://www.nittotire.com/tires_neogen.asp

i paid 99 bucks with free shipping from www.discounttiredirect.com (http://www.discounttiredirect.com/) the treadware is 240 as opposed to bridgestone potenza which is like 140 or something...i would definitely recommend these tires if you want awesome traction, traction in rain is also VERY decent and they are also z-rated
