Thought I would share this to see if it will help anyone else. For a while I have had a vibration from the sub area, but could not or would not take the time to locate it. At least in my case, the vibration was a result of the amp being fastened with the 4 screws, which were there and tight, but since the amp was right up against the plastic sub housing, the area(plastic sub housing) under the amp was vibrating against the amp.
I removed the amp, put some strips of fairly compressable adhesive backed foam (left over from a 944 turbo, don't ask) then refastened up and no more unwanted vibration!
