2003.5 Grille

Sorry guys, i hate to ask this cuz im sure i will get yelled at, but will the DG motorsports carbon fiber grille fit the 2003.5 MSP bumper?

yes, DG Motorsports carbonfiber grille will fit the 2003.5 msp bumper. Its the lower part of the front bumber that is different from the 2003 MSP's bumper.

i understand, just seems everyone on this board expects you to do an extensive search before asking a question. Unfortunately i dont have the time to sit in my office researching when i know someone has the answer and can respond with minimal effort.

just look at the top part of the bumper, where the grille meets the bumper. the 2003.5 and 2003 bumpers are the same its just that the lower part of the 2003.5 have a lower bumper insert and this is why the 2003.5 MSP don't have the fog lights.

the bumper itself looks different I.E. the ducts where the foglights SHOULD be look a little different than the 2003

trust me it fits. its the same damn bumper except on the bottom and the grille has nothing to do with the bottom.

however, the reason you are asking this i know is because of the group buy you posted in. the group buy you posted in IS NOT for the CF grille, its for the Fiberglass one that needs painted. see my sig for a link to the CF grille thread.

initially that was why i asked the question, but im going to purchase the insert regardless of a group buy. I just got my MSP on saturday and i have about 3grand to waste ;)

Is that piece that comes up all the way around the ducts an insert or is that actually part of the bumper?

Well congrats on the purchase and have fun with modding your MSP. Duct insert is just an insert, if your closely at the picture you can see the duct and the lower lip are one piece.

it's an added lip.. it won't affect the grill

awesome. Just ordered it! Only thing that pisses me off is i wanted to buy those carbon fiber splitters but i dont see them fitting my 2003.5 bumper based off the pictures on your sig. I might just buy them anyway and see if i can custom fit them.

i don't think the splitters will fit.. it's designed to fit the bumper without a lip

indeed it does, but i am a carbon fiber junkie! I have already ordered the mirror covers, hatch cover, eyelids and and the grill from DG. I plan on ordering the carbon dash kit and both a-pillars and sills in the future. Was also thinking about the wings west carbon hood scoop.

My MSP is silver so the CF accents nicely ;) I might just buy the splitters anyway, im sure i can custom fit them somehow.

i say you remove the lip, put a cf overlay on top, and put it on again
