I've always driven a turbo car with a map sensor so i never had to worry about the stalling. For those guys that drive the msp with the bov vented, how bad is it to drive in traffic??

it will make a noticable difference when racing... you run so much richer between shifts. there's not reason to vent, you get the BOV sound recirculating too, just not as loud; but come on its a sound. you'll have to worry about stalling when reving in neutral and when whinding down gears to slow down, too.

just run recirc.... please..... :)

Driving around town will be much more difficult(unless you run the dual setup). Some people have gotten certain BOV's to work, but you'll probably have problems when coming to a stoplight; you're car will either stall, or you might be lucky wnough for it to catch itself a couple times.

My car drives fine in town, and i rev match when i downshift anyway to help the synchros, so my car rarely stalls.

DO the dual setup no stalls at all And you can rev all the way to redline

I vent to the atomsphere without having a dual set-up and the car doesn't even try to stall......

-Guess you guys have to read more posts.

Autox,

just get the injen this summer. I'll get one too and we can have all the psht gobble gobble sounds that only the injen can bring out! :D
(it's cheaper too and the dealer won't give you THAT much of a hard time ! )

try raising idle to about 900 rpm or so and you wont have as many issues with stalling...

The thing is, i might go with hard pipes and they have a hole to vent to atmosphere. Besides the stock bypass valve doen't work by the sound of it, its not venting.
