The brakes are swimming.

Sometimes when I apply hard pressure to the brakes they make a gurgle noise. They still stop, but the noise just sounds horrible. I checked the rotors and there are no groves and the pads look fine. Any ideas about the weird noise.

abs doesn't really "gurgle". When this noise happens, can you feel your pedal juttering along with the noise?

I've noticed a shuddering in the pedal, but I thought that was just ABS? It has happened a couple times where the brakes weren't going to lock though.

mine does it when i come to a slow stop sometimes and sometimes under moderate braking. it almost sounds like fluid sloshing around really hard in a bottle or something or like a deep grinding noise sometimes but i also get a feeling like the brakes aren't going to work and then they catch and then they release again and catch until i am fully stopped. plus the stearing wheel shakes like crazy. getting it checked out on thursday

cool i will have them check it out, my ABS on my other cars never sounded like that, definantly not that loud ,not even close.

Oh and thanks. kinda wish it didn't take 10k worth of damage to get it looking like that though lol
