View Full Version : Quick question on joe p mbc
Took mbc off a month ago for dealership stuff.... going to put it back on today but i noticed that if I shake the mbc i hear something rattling inside. Not sure if it's always been like that (as its operated fine). If something is messed up inside any way I can fix it?

It's probably the henway. You might want to have it looked at.

Isn't there a ball bearing or something inside that closes off the line when tightened?

I know this is old, but I am catching up on some reading here- the rattle is normal if the screw isn't putting pressure on the spring.

The rattle is probably from the spring and/or the ball bearing. If you tighten up the adjusting screw, you probably wont be able to hear it when you shake it
