Well like gboromsp this past weekend me and my friends installed the Ion fmic
kit! First off please don't make this a Ion bashing thread! I'm just sharing my pics for all to see. Jack was great support and even called me the day my fmic arrived at my door. Thanks Jack and to all on the board for the great info and the how-to's to making mod installs easier. Enjoy! :D

Kinda hard to see (incognito!) The intercooler pipes are powdercoated the same color as the Injen.:D The black box (next to the Optima) with the yellow vaccum lines is my Blitz EBC Dual Solenoid.

Looks awesome man! Couple questions... does ION have a website you can order from, or do you need to call them? If so, link/number? Also, which pod did you get, and what color did you paint it?
Looks great bro!

d_stickney - Ion does have a website, but there is not much there. http://www.ionperformance.com/ But Jack is on the forums constantly under user name iON Performance, just pm or email him. He responds fairly quick. The pod is the autometer dual pillar pod I got from jegs.com. The paint I picked from a hardware store that matched close to stock.
MazdaSpeed0020 - The yellow stone guards are made of 3M vinyl. I just used soap and water and stuck them on. :D Slamdp5 was selling them a will ago. And I don't mind you posting on how nice my car is ;).

Nice job body... look great (thumb)
What can you expect in performance gain (whp) !?

Wingman21 - Honestly I dunno what my whp gains are right now with all the mods done to my MSP. I know stock is anywhere from 130-150 whp. I never dynoed it yet. Let's just say that I'm getting closer to that 200 whp goal that I would like to reach someday.:D

Hey man. Your car looks hot. Your not gonna get a lot of negative feedback im my opinion. I also like the way your pipes are stealth-like matching your Injen intake. Many and many props bro. (2thumbs)

Let's just say that I'm getting closer to that 200 whp goal that I would like to reach someday.:DWhy does everyone want to reach 200 whp (wiggle) !!!
Is it because you can travel back in time when you're there(upyours) !!!
Lol, just kidding !!!
you should update your sign for the EBC by the way ;)
Are u running 9psi daily ?
VegasMSP

Thanks JMDPRO5! That's what I wanted to do was a stealth look. If you saw my engine bay from a distance you couldn't tell that I had some mods done to it. :D
Wingman yeah I'm going to update my signature (time to crack open photochop). As for boost with EBC I'm runnin 9.5 psi. If it tries to go any higher then that my EBC has a built in warning/safety set at 9.6psi. So if I every spiked or go higher then 9.5psi the EBC will decrease boost to 10%. Yeah if I get to 200whp I can got back to 1955 to the clock tower that was struck by lightning;).
Hey Vodapas77 I'm just recirculating right now. Don't know if I'm going with a HKS SSQ later down the road or not. It's all good :D.

VegasMSP (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/member.php?u=4917)<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_754977", true); </SCRIPT> - lookin' good Pete :) I hope the P/C material you chose is high temp acryllic, otherwise since that one charge pipe sits close to the manifold, you may develop some running or bubbles in the P/C after awhile.
vodapas77 (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/member.php?u=5608)<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_754851", true); </SCRIPT> - buddy your's is ready to ship @ anytime.. just waiting to see if there's enough people to get you that break on shipping.

Pete, AWESOME BRO. I was waiting for a phone call this morning to come help but I didn't get the call so I figured you got it all done. Besides, I had to go and study PHYSICS (oh the fun!). Looks awesome, can't wait to hear the car with the downpipe since I couldn't when we were doing the FMIC. Let us know how the power is now with the FMIC. So the sawzaw did the trick then.....

shaolin - You can see it anytime this week after 3pm:D when I get off of work. I'm supposed to meet up with Syntrix (Rx-8) for sushi and sake this sometime week, maybe you can join us. But I'm down for a beer or something, I'm off on weekends. PM me and we'll exchange numbers. And yes I'll help you out hehe.
tytanium - Cutting the holes for the pipes were the only pain. But after buying the cordless sawzaw life was easier :D. Everything else was straight forward. Had to add a little hose and a threaded straight piece for the injen. But it wasn't too bad.
Snacks McGee - I need your number Ling! We have to go have that beer hehe. Plus we need to put together a little Mazda get together. PM me and we'll hang out.
TheJohnny - Just got off the phone with you. We'll hang out next weekend :D.
