power steering and a/c belt

I was wondering if anyone had any problems with the belt that runs the power steering and a/c. I just looked at mine and found that it was half worn out... and i only have 11000 miles so far. I am boosted over stock. Can anyone tell me what might of cause this belt to worn so quickly.. If ur wondering... i did a search and and nothing came up. Thanks (uhm)

off the bat i would say your tension wasn't set right;

but you might also be forcing your steering pump too much...
