well, as the title says, my car today started to act very strange.
my mods: FLASHED, INJEN CAI
my problem:
When accelerating in 1st gear, I get a sluggish power-loss at around 4K rpm, I accelerated thru it, and shifted to second at 5.5K as soon as the clutch is out my car stops building power and starts to buck a little, just like the "orginal hesitation" but this is more severe, now it seems as the car is going to stall.. I tried starting differently and was able to create the problem under every situation I tried.. Its wet out today, about 40 degrees.. I dunno whats up.. any info would be great because this is bothering me.
I dont beat my car either, I drive it hard when its safe to (which is not TO often) normally i drive it responsibly.. so im curious to see if this has happened to anyone else.. any ideas on what to check, what to do, what i could have done etc. would be greats thanks

Check your vac lines. I have a hard time believing all of this "new hesitation" stuff when I've put over 30k on my car in and it has never come back since the flash.. I do frequently drive hard, too.

update: vac lines are fine.
new idea: it seems like its fuel related because in second gear it cuts out at 4K, third gear cuts out at 3.7K, 4th gear 3.2K etc.. could it be ECU? fuel pressure regulator? HELP!! haha dealer monday, but the more info I have, the less they can screw me over. WHERE'S THE MECHANICS?!

It cuts or hesitates?

it shuts down, like it runs out of fuel and starts bucking

so just to be sure... it's more of a cut than it is hesitation?

Could you be hitting the fuel cut??? I honestly dunno, I'd really think something is wrong (such as a vacuum leak, as per previous suggestions)... it's not like your ECU could learn to unflash itself.

Check your I/C to BPV pipe. Seems obvious but there may be just enough of a hole or break somewhere that when the turbo kicks in and the engine moves, the hole opens and causes the leak. Why it'd do it only at a certain RPM that's gear dependant, I'm unsure of, but that also was not a characteristic of the hesitation problem.

Try running though your gears without hitting boost at all and see if it does it then.

I had the same happen on my car when I had water in my IC pipes, but I have my maf on one of the IC pipes. The was cutting hard at 4k rpm. As soon as the water evaporated the problem stopped. Took a day.

You may also want to try this. Some one on this forum did this and it helped a lot. Give your wastes gate and BOV independent vacuum line. From this factory they use the same lines. Also I have heard talk that it maybe our <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas:contacts" /><st1:Sn>VICS</st1:Sn> causing this problem as well.. Just a thought.

its seems like fuel regulator is dumping fuel back into my gas tank to soon... should i remove my injen before going to the dealer? or should it not be a problem?
thanks

NEW THOUGHT:
when I hit 4K I lose all my power, that has been established, but today i took it for a run, and powered thru the hestitation/stumble/death... whats weird is, power delivery kicked back in at 5.5-6K just like the old hesitation..... is it possible that my car got "unflashed"? (or something along those lines)

heat soak i doubt it.... its alot colder than it usually is and ive never had this problem before, it randomly started fuckin up yesterday... but it sorta does feel like that, i just cant think of why that would just start happening...
