today i was driving my friend home from baseball practice and i made a really bad turn... normally the car could have made it but my tires were almost bald and i didnt realize it, i just had them rotated 2 weeks ago, but the turn was about 35-40 mph and wasnt even that sharp. my tires broke loose and i slid into a curb... i got out to see the 2 driver side tires fucked... the front at first all i was were some scratches, the rear was bent inward kinda bad, i thought i could still drive on it, so i did, i manage to get my friend to his house and as i pulled out of the driveway my car slumped. i got out to see my front tire almost falling off... i was like sh*t.. later i got it towed to my house i noticed it leaking some kind of fluid... i dont know what it is though, and now its sitting in my garage...

im just glad nobody got hurt...

so i thought about it and now i plan to make my car better than before...i dont know exactly what all is broken but ill try to get some pics up soon.. so could you guys post what kind of suspension i should get since my old one is broken?

Hmmm from the sounds of it you probably broke your drive shaft/CV joint. It's what basically turns your wheels aka your drive axel. You probably screwed up your LSD as well. The "fluid" you saw was probably the grease they pack into the CV joints to keep the bearings from wearing. Sorry dude. Just learn from it. You should be able to pick up some CV joints and boots from Mazda but I dunno about the LSD if it's fugged up....

Good luck man...

how many miles on your car? just wondering because of the baldness.

hitting a curb head on-ish with the wheel turned = drive shaft getting driven vry hard INTO the tranny.... = (if the fluid looks like thick oil) cracked trans housing

i have only about 9000 miles on my car and the ones i have on the back are nearly completely bald, (rotated) and the ones on the front are already almost as bad...

i hit the curb sideways like drifting, both wheels hit the curb at the same time,

i heard something from my friend with an s2k, he had the same nearly identical experiance that i had, something about the part on the suspension breaking on purpose so that it wouldnt mess up the rest of the suspension, and my friends dad says that its break fluid that dripped out but im not for sure...my cousin told me it is probably oil, hopefully i just cracked the pan and not the block

man i feel so stupid, doing that to my car, i deserved to be flamed

so what do you guys suggest i do? i mean theres no point in restoring the old suspension if i could just replace with better, what do you guys suggest? maybe ill ask again whenever i find out exactly whats broken
