HKS type 1 timer

just installed my HKS type 1, works like a charm.

i didnt hook up the speed sensor or the tach sensor.

wanted to ask if anyone has advice on how do do so. is there a better
spot to splice in somewhere under the dash rather than right at the computer?

can anyone tell me which wires are the speedo wire and the tach wire?

Tachometer, purple/white, N/A, Diagnostic Connector in driver side rear corner of the engine compartment also on ECM pin 48
Speed Sensor, orange or green/red, N/A, pin 58 on ECM
