When installing the Injen Cold Air Intake do i need to cut out a whole for the filter to go through to get the cold air - Thats how it looks in some of the pictures I've seen.

Any information on the install is appreciated.

Is the CAI worth the money as opposed to the shorty intake by AEM?

The cheapest i seen the Injen CAI is $240.

Thank you in advance.

lots of threads on this- you don't have to cut out a piece but if you want more cold air corksport has a replacement either already out or coming out for the plastic piece down below that will let more in. Between the two it's a matter of preference- you won't really see any difference in performance- even if you go with the ebay CAI or SRI- although with either of those its a good idea to replace the filter that they come with- the CAI from ebay will run you about $60 and the SRI is about $35
