Spicy Ornage Paint has Pink Pearl

Just thought this was neat. I found a half working website that talks about the spicy orange MSP paint job. They show how it uses a pink pearl to give the gold flake effect.

anyway, they put gold sparkles in the pink gloss coat. there's a pic of a MSP driving by and i can see the pinkish tinge in the sunlight

Good info and I highly doubt anyone else has posted that link before. That explains a lot. I knew it was a three step paint, but I never knew they actually used a pearl. I figured the second stage was just a straight gold metallic. That explains why the Orange is such a unique shade for a factory vehicle. I can't even count how many times people have asked me where I got the paint done.

Good find! I found that out the hard way, though, after they repainted my damage four times before ordering the "paint pack" from Mazda.
