I want your input. How's the moderating going in here? Is it too lax, too aggressive, not enough moving, too much closing, etc. This is not a "kiss-ass the mod's ass" thread, it's a "let him know how he's doing" thread. I don't want to piss the group off but I'm not going to sit back and not take any action, either.

i think everything is going a-ok. it has gotten much better since the whole pat/2 loww thing has blown over. we were almost in a state of emergency.

I like your more active approach. In fact I think a cleanup of old threads with the same questions over and over again might be in order to clean up search results. There are so many threads with the same thing and responses that are search, or it can be found here. Makes it difficult to find the real thread when searching.

from what I've seen I think you and the rest of the MSP mods doing a great job. the MSP section always seemed to be this untamed wilderness, though it wasn't for a lack of trying :D I am happy to see things moved around from the MSP section into the correct forums, hopefully it will introduce people to different forums and get people moving around (poke)

Second, not that i care, but... there is no word sensor! Just strange to me since almost all other forums have them. I know it is kinda pointless due to the minipulations and symbols that have become universal like sh!t and fuked and so on. Just kinda throws me off especially when i am viewing this at work!!

Well, we're not about to start censoring words. We have cut down on the amount of partial or fully naked girls in people's sigs, though. That was yet another thing that bothered me and I finally got the main person to remove the girls from his sig.

If it's big enough so that you can see it from behind the computer and it could possibly get you in trouble where ever you're at, then it becomes an issue.

But yeah.. BLAH.

I know he was pissed but more people were pissed at him due to that. It's not something we need. We're trying to attract people to the board and limiting where they access the forum due to non-related images kinda goes against that, yanno?

Mods are doing awesome, putting up with all of our shit, and shit. I think since you guys tightened your grasp on the forums, it's gotten alot more work safe, and school safe, and family safe. It's doing really good. Also, tease, your avatar tripped me out, your light were flashing perfectly to the beat of my song(Holding On-by Good-Riddance)

I can't really think of anything more that can be added to the MSP forum or any real changes. The introduction of the engine managment forum was a great idea, but that goes outside of this forum.

Other than that I agree with most everyone else that you have made huge strides in cleaning up the MSP forum. Keep up the good work.

Here t3ase, somethings I'd like to request.

Get rid of Antoine.

He sits in Japan not even owning a Mazda, just getting cash from the boards (AV Fees), doesn't care when his members get scammed by 2loww and skylab, and cant understand why a mod would leave after all the crap that everyone- moderators, users, and the some of the ADMINS THEMSELVES give them?!

1) Get rid of Antoine
2) Start actually banning people. I wouldn't be suprised if someone banned me since I expose the truth, and it hurts
3) Start giving a shit about when people get scammed
4) show your mods some respect, not backstab them in public.
5) Go back to VBB 2.x. 3.x sucks.

This is just what I've noticed in me being around since March and you all impress me every day.

/rantYou must be on Crack!!! This is the fastest board with this many users i have seen on the web. Its clean and precise as well. The server this board is running on is a monster as well. Alot of behind the scenes updates and upgrades that MOST boards don't even bother with are well maintained here. Antione does Nothing but sit back and collect cash?

HELLLOOOOOO, He is more active than any admin i have ever seen. Also how much do you think it costs to run a server like this. lets see 3-4g for the server then collocation fees ranging from 200-900 a month for firewalls, bandwidth which seems to be a OC-48, sprinkler systems, desiel generators, the list goes on.

You must not be much of a Computer Geek, because you have no idea what actually goes on behind the scenes of one of these boards if you had the gull to make a statement like that!!
