Not sure about pricing, I am buiding a web site for my customer, he makes all kinds of billet car parts, but mostly for Chevy, Ford kind of stuff. I am going to show him my car and we are going to see what other kind of things we might be able to do. Will find out about pricing and all the parts and pieces for the battery.

im down 100%... i just picked up my optima today and its a bit too long for the stock tray, gonna have to dremel off the rear tray lip. the battery is also alot shorter than stock so i have to find a way of securing it from the top... itd be awesome if this aluminum tray will bolt up to the car like the stock plastic one

My optima fit the tray just fine. I just had to make a top bracket. I used flat steel and bent it to the shape that I needed. Drilled out two mounting holes. Then painted with anodized paint. Cost me less than $10 to make.
See my cardomain page for a picture of it.

I haven't gotten my Optima battery yet, but I think Id totally be down for getting one of these holders. That way, when I finally get around to buying the Optima I'll already have the holder sitting around.

well they come in diffrent sizes? can you powder coat?
Big D

No andodizing, powder coating, etc. But I will ask if he can etch MAZDASPEED or Protege 5 on it. That should be easy enough to do. I will find out which Optima fits our cars and that should be the size we need.

Id like to get a battery holder fabbed for the trunk. I need it to hold my Yellowtop in place while it powers my stereo system. If you could, would it be too much to have "Protege" or "Boom Boom" etched on it?
