Cleaning Conv. Top

One of my co-workers has a Miata w/ the tan top. She believes she has some sap on the top and is wondering what the best products/methods she should encorporate to get it clean.

Something like goo gone or a mild adhesive remover. Then wash it down with fresh water to get the residue off and then baby it with Meguiars Professional Vinyl cleaner & protectant. Like I said, definitely try with Goo Gone first and test for color fastness in a small area that isn't highly visible, like where the material is normally tucked in when the top is up.
