I know the focus comes without a cabin air filter as a cost-saving method, yet there is still a place for one. Could this be the case with the P5? I've noticed the inside of my car gets very dusty, very fast.

Looked in service manual for ventilation. Nothing for filter there. Never heard of such a thing.

OK, apparently it just filters the air coming through your HVAC....doesn't surprise me that our car doesn't have a filter/place for one. Thanks for looking.

If I remember correctly. I heard TheMAN talking at a meet a while back about a cabin filter on the JDM Protege's, not U.S... not sure though..

He made a post on clubprotege detailing the install of the JDM cabin filter into his car. Apparently it's quite involved.
