turbo dyno

i am looking at the newest turbo magazine and it says that the base hp for our car is 123.9. that is alot higher than i had heard. is this an engine dyno?

Join the crowd bro. We were all asking the same question when that article was released. The dyno was done at Area 51 Fabrications and they are a pretty well know shop, so who knows, we'll have to see if they do a second article.

Yes I was wondering this myself...when I read that article I had went ape-shit...right there in the magazine isle of Fry's Electronics....Area 51 IS a reputable shop...they also put out the supercharged MP3...so I would like to know what is up with those numbers too

If I remember correctly didn't they use a Clayton dyno...not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I said this in a diffrent post a couple of days ago about the horsepower and someone said it was bs.... but anyways u guys see the exhuast it looks sweet....
