Dude DON'T GO!!! Panama City is nice durring spring break but the rest of the time it is a redneck hell hole! I Lived there for about 6 years and blehhh:p . The beaches arn't bad but everything else kinda sucks! Besides your MP3 won't be verry happy all the roads ar flat and as straight as an arrow! But hey that is just my 2 cents.

I myself, being one who has lived here my whole life, consider Panama City and Panama City Beach practically the same place. We as locals just call it 'the beach'.

I guess they aren't quite the same thing, but they are close enough.

Panama City is the area over the Hathaway bridge around the marinas, Panama City Beach is the beach area on the west side of the Hathaway bidge. I've spent many drunken nights in PC. I'm from about 1 hour north in AL.

Im going there for the 4th of July, supposivly for a couple days it gets huge, and also I havent had a vacation in so long. Im not taking the MP3 because I dont want to put the miles on it. I will be riding in my buddys car, 2000 Civic SI, Jackson Charger, 19inch wheels, Body Kit, TV, Exhaust,CAI, ect.... I just want to put a face with the name on here. How close are you MP3Owner?

I used to live over in Callaway off of ShadowBay Dr. My parents actaully still live there. Went to Rutherford HS and graduated in 95. Did the whole live there bit too! Worked a Shipwreck Island and Miricle Strip..etc. I am not saying that PC can't be a nice place just that it was a little back woodsy for me! :)

I am about 50-65 miles to the west of Panama City. I live in Fort Walton Beach, just to the west of Destin.
Destin is really getting BIG! Have any of you been to Destin lately? It is really growing Fast! Construction everywhre you look.
Really nice place to visit if you like seafood, fishing, and more seafood :D

By the way combat carl, that game you got your avatar from. It's the bomb. Do you have the emulator to play it on PC, I had it back when I was in uni, we used to pass the time playing good ol' neo geo games. Of course we used to spend fricken 16 hours a day on campus... !!!

Yeah the game is called Metal Slug! It is one of the best side scrollers ever! We used to have a mame cabinet where I worked and it usally rotated between metal slug and street fighter, or robotron when we wanted to get our really old school going! Anyhow, I will have to come meet all you guys in PC when I come home for Christmas this year!

I really find it difficult to consider the Hathaway bridge enough of a border to make P.C. different than P.C. Beach. Either way they are about five minutes appart. I dont have much done to my car yet besides and injen cold air, but I am about to order my cams and have NRG's newest shop which is now in downtown P.C. put them in.
